Celebrating 10 years with QCS Staffing - Carlo Milone

The year is 2014, ‘Happy’ by Pharrell Williams was the top song; Guardians of the galaxy was the top film; crop tops, sneakers, frayed denim, and beanies were all the rage; Lewis Hamilton won the British Grand Prix; and QCS Staffing celebrated something closer to home – Carlo joining the team. Today we celebrate Carlo’s remarkable 10 years with QCS Staffing and we asked him a few questions about his time so far… 

Why did you join QCS Staffing?

I joined QCS Staffing because of its strong reputation in the industry and commitment to providing an excellent service to clients and candidates. QCS Staffing’s values align with my own and I was excited about the opportunity to contribute to its continued success.

What has kept you working at QCS Staffing for 10 years? 

Over the past 10 years QCS has consistently provided me with opportunities for progressional growth and development. This has been a key influence. The supportive work environment combined with rewarding work has kept me both motivated and engaged. One thing to really note is the people here at QCS really makes it a great place to work. All of those factors combined have kept me here.

How have you seen the company grow and develop? 

From what I’ve witnessed QCS has evolved into a leading staffing firm. We have become a leading firm and expanded so much over the last 10 years. Whether it’s our services or geographical reach, the company’s commitment to innovation and adapting to industry trends has been really impressive. We have seen some cool new areas open up and that we have now become very successful in.

What is your proudest moment at QCS Staffing?

One that sticks out I had quite an impressive year one year and broke some sales records which I was proud of, and then went into a management position. Denis, who I started managing then beat that record which I was also proud of as it reflected my management. I was also really impressed with him. Subsequently, the person he now manages is breaking those records so is creating more proud moments.

Quite a big moment that sticks out is that when I joined, I was tasked with starting a new division, this is now generating over millions of pounds of gross profit. I’m proud of everyone who contributed to that project as it was incredibly challenging. The renewables team was carved by the leadership team and when I joined, I put forward the idea of heavy lift in offshore wind. We started with 18 candidates, and we now have thousands of great relationships with key players and candidates. It’s been put together by a fantastic team, a new industry with a lot of challenges and rewards.
