Our Charities

QCS Staffing's charities

For many years we have been very privileged to be able to help others less fortunate than ourselves.

QCS Staffing supports four charities each year, principally through monies being allocated each time one of many work activities is undertaken by different colleagues across the business in the course of their everyday work. For example, a colleague can contribute by:

  • Processing a CV
  • Arranging an interview
  • Placing a candidate
  • Issuing an invoice

These are just a few of the tasks that then means an amount is automatically added to the ‘charity pot’. This is then split between our five charities. This means that every employee has a part to play in the raising funds for our chosen charities.

In addition, regular charity days are held at QCS Staffing, with activities such as bake offs, quizzes, and fancy dress competitions, which are taken very seriously and are always accompanied by a barbecue being fired up by our directors.

DENS

A local charity providing critical support and long-term solutions for homeless people and those in poverty.

DENS tackles homelessness and poverty in the Dacorum area of Hertfordshire, by giving people the chance to build a better future.

One of the main reasons QCS Staffing chose to support DENS is because of how misrepresented homeless people are. Homelessness can happen to people from all walks of life (and for so many different reasons).

The charity is situated around 100m from the QCS Staffing office! It was in jeopardy of becoming derelict at the time but has now been fully developed and equipped with many activities to provide a substantial recreational facility for the young people of the area.
