QCS Staffing are thrilled to announce their place as a finalist in the ICA’s ‘Best Compliance Team of the Year’ awards in the non-financial services division.

The awards recognise and celebrate outstanding achievements, innovation and collaboration in regulatory compliance, and those who go above and beyond to raise compliance standards across Europe.

For their first year entering the awards, reaching a finalist spot is a huge achievement and a fantastic recognition of the incredible work our Contracts and Compliance team do at QCS Staffing. Up against multiple multinational organisations including BT, Dialectica, Games Global and Kyivstar, the competition was tough, but QCS Staffing shone with their international compliance solutions and relentless commitment to client and candidate service.

With payroll compliant solutions in more than 30 countries across the world, 5 international offices, expertise in IR35 and averaging 4000 contracts written per year – our team of three are an unrelenting backbone to the operations of our business. With the opening of our newest US office in North Carolina earlier this year, the Compliance team have been busy getting legal operations overseas up and running. The department is led by Bhavna Dooman, Group Compliance Manager, and supported by Sophie Skelton, Contracts & Quality Analyst and Robyn Luya, Contracts & Compliance Executive.

Spencer, joint CEO of QCS Staffing, had to say about the shortlisting:

‘We are beyond proud that our small but MIGHTY Contracts and Compliance team managed to bag a finalist spot at the ICA Compliance Awards. The awards are a hugely commendable feat and even being considered within the top 8 companies in Europe shortlisted is a badge of honour that we wear with great pride. As we continue to grow in terms of headcount and in offices globally, our expansion would not be possible without our fantastic compliance team, and we look forward to submitting again in next year’s awards’.

After celebrating their nomination and shortlisting at the event on Thursday, Group Compliance Manager Bhavna said:

‘Attending the ICU awards with my team was an incredible experience. The night itself was a fantastic recognition of our hard work, and even though we didn’t take home the award, we are still as proud as ever for getting this far. With lots of hard work planned in 2023, we are looking forward to getting stuck in and returning to the awards ceremony again next year!’
