This is a fantastic opportunity for a CSA SME to join our major, global pharmaceutical client on their latest new-build project based in Ohio, this is a large-scale greenfield capital project and investing more than $1bn.
Responsibilities:
- Ensure the construction quality of Civil, Structural, and Architectural (CSA) works during the project’s construction phase, maintaining compliance with design specifications, industry standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Conduct regular inspections and audits of CSA works, identifying any quality issues and ensuring they are rectified according to project standards.
- Collaborate with project managers, contractors, and engineers to ensure proper execution of CSA works.
- Review construction drawings and specifications related to Civil, Structural, and Architectural aspects to ensure clarity, accuracy, and completeness.
- Provide expert advice on construction methods and best practices related to CSA works to enhance quality control.
- Document and report findings from site inspections, highlighting areas for improvement and ensuring corrective actions are implemented.
- Act as a liaison between various stakeholders, facilitating communication and resolving CSA-related construction quality issues as they arise.
Qualifications:
- 5-10 years of experience in CSA construction quality, preferably within a regulated industry (manufacturing, automotive, aerospace, etc.).
- Strong understanding of Civil, Structural, and Architectural works in large-scale capital projects.
- Demonstrated experience in overseeing construction quality for CSA works.
- Excellent knowledge of building codes, industry standards, and regulatory compliance in construction.
- Strong attention to detail, with the ability to spot and address construction quality issues proactively.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills, working well with diverse teams and stakeholders on site.
- Familiarity with quality control processes, site inspections, and ensuring compliance with project specifications.
- Ability to analyze construction drawings and documentation for accuracy.
- Experience with construction quality tools and processes is a plus.
Preferred:
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, Architecture, or a related field is a plus, though not required.
- Experience working on capital projects in highly regulated industries.
