Service Delivery Director – Data Centres – London – Permanent

We have an exclusive role with our client, a developer of large-scale data centres across the globe. They have an exciting opportunity for a driven Service Delivery Manager / Director to join their office in London. Responsibilities:
  • System Owner and supplier relationship lead for key platforms and systems including SalesForce, Docusign, ServiceNow, Archibus, Procore and YARDI together with Legal, Marketing and other solutions. The role will expand to also cover key Data Centre site systems including Building and Power Management (BMS/PMS) and security.
  • Be the Information functions key link to the Finance systems function and our ERP solution.
  • Develop, implement and run the digital transformation programme for the business integrating and automating all required connectivity working closely with the Business Intelligence and Information Security teams to ensure the design delivers to both agendas.
  • Identify ways working with internal colleagues and external suppliers to successfully build and establish interfaces and API’s into existing and new solutions.
  • Act as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) to lead the design and delivery of technical solutions to improve technology integrations, ensuring future capacity and scalability.
  • Define and assure a digital Engineering integration processes to improve operational efficiency to meet the evolving needs of the business and deliver on the objectives of the digital transformation journey.
  • Work collaboratively with the wider Information team and key stakeholders to ensure the digital engineering integration framework is documented and in line with the integration strategy and consistently implemented across the business.
  • Ensure key stakeholders and resources are managed effectively and projects are delivered on time and in quality. This includes, but is not limited to internal resources, third parties/vendors and existing service contracts.
 
Requirements:
  • 7 years+ experience in the Tech / IT sector in a management role.
  • Ideally experience with Salesforce as this is the platform they will be implementing.
  • Sound working knowledge of IT operations, systems, platforms, and development.
  • A driven personality - engaging, passionate, motivational, change leader, transformative.
  • Self-driven and can make this role their own.
  • Managing partners and third-party suppliers. Prior experience and knowledge of purchasing, implementing and embedding and running SaaS/cloud platforms at a global level

  • Ideal candidates would have some knowledge of data centre site systems such as Building/Facility/Power/Security with a working knowledge of humidity, temperature, cooling and power.
