SCADA SCS Engineer – Contract – Renewable Energy

This opportunity is currently available to a SCADA SCS Engineer to join our client’s newest project based in Denmark They are a long-standing market leader in the industry owning and developing projects across all major and emerging offshore wind markets, offering fantastic career opportunities for all contractors who join.

Your responsibilities will include:
  • Handling project related contractual and technical communication with contractors
  • Managing all project related activities required for the HVDC SCADA, Substation Control System (SCS), and Battery Energy Storage (BESS) delivery
  • Managing FAT, SAT, SIT, as well as commissioning, and subsequent handover to O&M, incl. general follow-up
  • Ensuring that the correct cyber security level is implemented on the SCADA systems to fulfil country specific and global company requirements
  • Developing standard technical requirements and solutions within SCADA and SCS in collaboration with customers.
Requirements:
  • Experience with the design, specification, configuration, and test of general SCADA and substation control systems from a similar industry, preferably within the energy sector
  • Extensive experience with SCADA networks in high-voltage production environments
  • Experience with HVDC SCADA systems
  • Experience with Battery Energy Storage systems
  • Speak and write English fluently.
