Are you a Senior Estimator looking for your next contract role? We have a fantastic opportunity for you to join our valued client in Dublin/Cork on an initial 12-Month contract/Permanent position.
Experienced at delivering highly efficient projects for state-of-the-art Data Centres, Pharma, Semi- Conductor infrastructures around the world, our client is a global leader in design, engineering and delivery of facilities for high tech industries. This is your chance to join an innovative, market leading data centre company as their newest Senior Estimator. Responsibilities:
- Coordinates information among the project team and Client
- Review and analyze project plans, specifications, and other documents to determine project requirements
- Leads discipline estimator work sequence and internal reviews of their deliverables to meet project demand
- Prepares the total Project Basis of Estimate
- Leads the preparation of Project Estimates and supports the presentation to Executive and Client management teams.
- Develop discipline estimates as necessary to support project demands
- Mentor and provide guidance to assigned discipline estimators. Provide feedback on performance to Discipline Estimating Manager
- Negotiate with suppliers and subcontractors
- Travel to support both project and corporate needs
Required Skills/Experience:
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field is preferred
- 10+ years of progressive experience in construction estimating
- Proven leadership experience in a senior estimating role
- Understands the fundamental concepts of engineering drawings
- Understand and apply AACE Recommended Practices
- MS Office Suite
- Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills
- Extensive knowledge of industry trends, regulations, and best practices
