I&C Area Lead - Pharmaceuticals - North Carolina - 12-Month Contract 

Our client, a global Pharmaceutical manufacturing organization are looking for a talented I&C Area Lead to join their expanding team. With continued organizational growth and considerable investment across their portfolio and capital programs this is an extremely exciting opportunity to contribute towards their brand-new manufacturing facility on the East Coast of the United States.


Role responsibilities:
  • Implement progress tracking for review and approval of instrument datasheets
  • Track progress for initial instrument calibration and measurement uncertainty analysis
  • Participate in I&C design reviews and assist in resolution of identified I&C issues
  • Liaise with I&C design firm, construction, 3rd party vendors and CQV representatives
  • Interface with other disciplines and stakeholders to ensure the project meets business needs
  • Support quality oversight for instrument and field IO panel installation
  • Support resolution of instrument related issues observed during loop checks
  • Manage contractors performing measurement instrument calculations
  • Ensure I&C support is delivered in a consistent manner for all Project areas/nodes
  • Provide necessary progress data to Automation PMO to support preparation of monthly reports
  • Participate in Identifying and analyzing risks and planning responses
  • Maintain compliance with training requirements

Role Requirement:
  • BS Engineering (or equivalent experience)
  • 5+ years working experience in I&C Project Management in the Pharmaceutical Industry
  • Previous Pharmaceutical large project experience
  • Preferable, knowledge of DeltaV and Turck I/O hardware
  • Proficiency in commonly used project management tools (scheduling, metrics, risk management)
  • Preferable, solid knowledge of GMP’s and regulatory requirements
  • Exceptional teamwork abilities
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills for both technical and non-technical audiences
  • Exceptionally well organized with an aptitude for data
  • Solid networking and interpersonal skills
  • Formal Project Management credentials desirable
