HSE Manager - Amsterdam - Renewable Energy

Our client is a Global EPC contractor with tailored solutions across Mechanical works, Operations, Maintenance, Construction and Installation of modular plants and pipelines.

They are seeking an experienced Project HSE Manager to join their project in the Netherlands on a 12 month initial contract.


Responsibilities:
  • Responsible for the coordination, preparation and delivery of project specific HSE procedures and plans including distribution of HSE statistics
  • Supervises, coordinates and monitors HSE performance on the project
  • Ensure HSEQ capitalises from Lessons Learned and is performed in accordance with best practice, striving to mitigate risk, promoting safety and integrity consistently
  • Conduct or participate in emergency response exercises
  • Supports project and project leadership in implementing the Safety Management System
  • Assists project management team in defining its HSE resource requirements

Skills and experience:
  • A bachelor’s degree in a health, safety, or environmental field of study 
  • Extensive experience in health and safety
  • HSE Qualification  
  • In depth knowledge of Dutch legislation and procedures 
  • Good analytical skills and the ability to think critically 
  • Good public speaking skills 
  • Proficient in all Microsoft Applications
