Electrical Project Engineer - Data Centre 

We are currently working with a leading data Centre provider that specialise in the design, development, and operations of state-of-the-art data centre facilities.

They are seeking an experienced Electrical Project Engineer to assist on projects across London, Paris & Frankfurt.


Principal Duties and Responsibilities
  • Support full project lifecycle teams alongside planning, site selection and more.
  • Work closely with Senior Management managing internal and external resources.
  • Ensure clients requirements are delivered, making changes and improvements to designs where required.
  • Support in contract review, negotiation, and execution, utilising knowledge of varying Design and Construction contract forms.
  • Knowledge of VOB contracts would be an advantage.
  • Assist with budget management.
  • Track changes and cost risks
  • Ensure that best practice is uniform across all our developments, irrespective of geographic location.
  • Provide technical expertise in the design and installation of data centre electrical systems, fire suppression systems, and physical security measures.
  • Apply industry standards and regulations to projects.
  • Assist with the procurement process, reviewing returns and checking for compliance.
  • Use value engineering to ensure contractors and vendors meet expectations from a value perspective for us and our clients.
  • Regularly liaise with customers and key stakeholders
  • Help develop new locations across Europe.


Required Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
  • Electrical Engineering Degree or Equivalent
  • Experience:  Minimum 3 years of experience in mission critical projects
  • Proficiency in relevant design software
  • Knowledge of industry standards and codes.
  • Proficiency with MS Project.
  • Critical thinker and problem solver.
  • Ability to support several projects at any given time
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams, stakeholders, consultants, and contractors.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively interface directly with clients.
  • Willingness to travel
