Senior Project Manager (MEP) - Data Centre Project - Zürich 

Our client is a leading design and engineering consultant specialising in innovative solutions for a wide range of industries. They are currently focusing on technically complex and mission-critical facilities such as data centres. Their commitment is to deliver high-quality projects that meet our clients’ needs and exceed their expectations.


Responsibilities:
  • Lead and manage design projects from inception to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget
  • Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, and budgets
  • Coordinate and communicate with clients, stakeholders, and team members to ensure project requirements are understood and met
  • Oversee the design process, ensuring that all design work meets the highest standards of quality and creativity
  • Identify and mitigate project risks and issues
  • Provide leadership and guidance to project teams, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment
  • Prepare and present project reports and updates to clients and senior management

What they are looking for:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering. A Master’s degree is preferred
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in project management, with a focus on design projects
  • Strong engineering background, preferably as a mechanical or electrical design engineer
  • Previous employment by a design and engineering company
  • Strong knowledge of project management methodologies and tools
  • Excellent internal and external communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks effectively
  • PMP or similar project management certification is a plus
  • Excellent knowledge of the English, German language is a plus
