WTG Electrical Engineer - Fredericia, Denmark - 12-Month Contract

Tasks:
  • Prepare technical requirements and specifications and conduct verification activities at relevant project stages; 
  • Handle communication internally between departments and external communication with WTG supplier and foundation contractors; 
  • Review of electrical documentation from foundation contractor / sub-contractors, such as test certification, as built drawings, and O&M manuals; 
  • Recommend product quality control activities incl. FAIs, FATs and SATs;  
  • Represent the company in FAI’s (First Article Inspections) of free-issued equipment and components, and fabrication assembly such as FAI on final foundation structures; 
  • Maintain electrical documentation such as electrical requirements, methods statements, and processes; 
  • Participate in development projects to ensure improvement of our solutions; 
  • Support Operations within claims, retrofits and service if necessary;
  • Follow-up on technical issues and non-conformities during design, development, engineering, production, and installation; 
  • Ensure technical clarifications and communication with contractor during tenders, contract negotiations and project execution of matters within scope; and
  • Ensure risk- and interface documents are maintained during projects.
 
Requirements:
  • B.Sc. or M.Sc. in Electrical Engineering or similar background with theoretical and minimum 2 years practical knowledge on design and manufacturing of electrical components 
  • Recommended 5 years of practical and theoretical experience within electrical components, preferably within the foundation / wind turbine industry; and
  • Strong team player who is able to align and communicate with various internal and external stakeholder.
