This is a fantastic opportunity for a Safety Program Manager to join our major, global pharmaceutical client on their latest new-build project based in Maryland, this is a large-scale greenfield capital project and investing more than $1bn.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the planning, execution, and completion of the site and infrastructure portion of a greenfield CAPEX project focused on the construction of a new pharmaceutical API plant at the Lebanon location.
- Develop detailed project plans, timelines, and budgets, ensuring alignment with organisational goals and objectives.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering, operations, facilities, and regulatory affairs, to drive project success.
- Oversee the selection and management of contractors and vendors involved in the project, ensuring adherence to quality and safety standards.
- Monitor and control project progress, identifying and mitigating risks and issues as they arise.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, environmental standards, and company policies throughout the project lifecycle.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 7 years of experience managing capital projects in the life science industry, with a focus on pharmaceutical manufacturing. Experience in oil and gas or chemical industries may also be considered.
- Proven track record of successfully leading capital projects with budgets exceeding $50 million.
