I found it very beneficial. I always enjoy networking happy hours because it takes a lot of pressure off of people looking for a job. Everyone is there to meet new people, make new connections, and find opportunities. It feels much more personal and organic than just sending people messages on LinkedIn, or attaching a resume to a website. Actually being able to speak with people in person and discuss your background in a friendly, chill environment is absolutely a huge plus to these events.
