Veterinary Manager – Dublin - Contract

Do you want to be involved with exciting pharmaceutical projects?

When it comes to the development and production of veterinary vaccines, our pharmaceutical client has the largest centre in the industry worldwide and is a Centre of Excellence; employing more than 1000 people. They are looking to add to their team and require a Veterinary Manager.

This a fantastic opportunity to be involved with the critical investment projects both on-site and remotely.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities for this role include, but are not limited to, the following:
  • To provide a support service to external customers of Animal Health. 
  • To provide support to the territory managers with an aim to contributing to the sales activity.
  • To provide relevant support functions in pharmacovigilance and Product Quality Complaint (PQC)
  • To provide support to the named product portfolios and Marketing/Product Managers with an aim to defend and grow market share and market presence
  • To ensure compliance of both Animal Health and competitors within the APHA / NOAH Code of Practice and the Animal Remedies / Veterinary Medicines Regulations. 
  • To provide Animal Health with comprehensive in-house technical training at various levels to ensure that all staff are trained to their necessary level on the large animal products and markets.
Desirable Experience:
  • Strong Planning and Organising skills
  • In-depth knowledge of the veterinary market
  • In depth knowledge of pharmacovigilance legislation and guidelines
  • Wide-ranging and sound communication skills
  • Ability to work well within in a high performance team structure
