A leading international player in the power generation industry is recruiting for an experienced Turbine Generator Commissioning Engineer, is this you? As Turbine Generator Commissioning Engineer, you will lead and perform the commissioning of turbine generators during cold and hot commissioning phases.
Turbine Generator Commissioning Engineer Responsibilities:
- Perform commissioning according to specifications and engineering documents, including function tests, logic interlocks verification, and reports.
- Ensure technical correctness of equipment during commissioning in compliance with instructions, taking into account the safety instructions, the environmental protection measures, and local regulations.
- Complete all the necessary activities to reach turning gear operation, acceleration tests, start up with fuel gas or fuel oil, first synchro, load tests, etc.
- Plan and prepare site commissioning work including necessary tools and consumables, and coordinate work tasks with other teams as commissioning engineers, operators, contractors, and other team members.
- Report events and write professional technical and site reports.
- Bachelor or Graduation's Degree in Engineering
- 5+ years of experience as a Turbine Generator Engineer on large scale projects within the power sector
- Experience with turbine generators acting on both single components and full system up to completion.
- Strong ability to manage mechanic, mechatronic and process of turbine generator and auxiliary systems
- Mechatronic/Mechanical education, orientation, and attitude.
- Good knowledge on how to perform turbine generator inspections during commissioning phase (combustion chamber, compressor, turbine, piping, etc) in accordance with specific documentation.
- Knowledge of commissioning phases, requisites, process, workflow, and safety measures.
- Good knowledge of mechanical part relative to auxiliary systems.
- Good capability to coordinate various specialist to fit commissioning programmes.
- Multilingual skills (bonus).
