A global leading biopharmaceutical client requires a Project Manager experienced in large biotech projects to join their new bio pharmaceutical manufacturing facility.
They are looking for an SME or area lead with people management experience to support the Capital Projects Director to support the completion of a new build project with regards to mechanical / utilities and process. A project manager with technical skills in utilities and systems to help drive on issues resolution.
Responsibilities:
- Assuring that A/E deliverables truly capture existing conditions and site particularities.
- Reviewing A&E deliverables,
- Responsible for the development and implementation of the control strategy
- Leads data/comments gathering on behalf of our client; expedites decision making affecting design in support to engineering deliverables in line with project schedule.
- Leads SWAT Team in relation to punch list closure during the CQV execution phase.
- Ensure compliance with all local codes and regulations
- Involves Global engineering organization as needed to assure alignment with network best practices, equipment platforms, specifications and standards.
- Involves Global engineering Lead as required for critical design reviews and vendor technical discussions.
- Accountable to budget and schedule attainment in disciplines under responsibility
- Reviews and approves commissioning protocols associated with area of expertise.
- Supports Capital Projects Director and CQV team on troubleshooting during commissioning activities
- Partners with F&E to develop and procure spare parts and format parts
- Provides Technical guidance on the development of plant maintenance programs
- Liaise with CQV and Lead Scheduler in relation to schedule creation and management ensuring all correct predecessors and successors are in place.
- Liaises with other disciplines to ensure alignment and coordination across disciplines
- Liaise with all Project Groups (Design/CM/CQV/Automation/Process/SMEs/Ops/Maintenance/PMs) to ensure all systems are managed appropriately for the entire Project Lifecycle.
- Provides feedback on the procurement of discipline related packages, ensuring that items purchased are to the correct specification and orders are placed in line with schedule requirements
- Works closely with the Capital Projects Director, project and owner teams to develop a baseline schedule which supports project completion date.
