Our client is a leading developer in the industry, owning and developing projects across all major and emerging offshore wind markets. They are now recruiting with a superb new opportunity for an Site Representative to join them on an initial 14-month contractual basis, based in Newcastle.
With a significant track record of successfully delivering projects and a vast project pipeline across the UK, Europe and emerging international markets, this is an incredibly exciting time to join them in their current project.
Responsibilities:
- Co-ordinate RWE equipment & material – departures, arrivals and storage on board
- Ensure Welfare facilities are maintained and replenishment's/ change-outs are organised with SOV.
- Key point of contact for works on the OCP to shore, both OSM team, and Package.
- Provides, or arranges tool box talks to Sofia personnel and Contractors.
- Identify any new requirements, temporary or otherwise, during Hook Up & Commissioning progress
- Work with GE team to facilitate drills or emergency exercises.
- Escalate Contractor significant issues or contract non-performance with the Package Manager for resolution.
Requirements:
- Relevant technical education, e.g Electrical/Mechanical Engineering Degree/HNC or equivalent.
- IOSH/NEBOSH Certification.
- All certificates required to work Offshore - GWO Working at Height, First Aid, Sea Survival, Fire Awareness, Manual Handling and Slinger. Advanced rescue / First Aid Desirable
- HUET with CA-EBS
- Structure, independent, analytical and goal-orientated work methods
- Capable of intercultural collaboration with internal and external partners
