Our client that specialises in delivering medicines for patients with swallowing difficulties, across a range of therapeutic areas
Essential Duties and Responsibilities for this role include, but are not limited to, the following:
- QCS are now exclusively engaged with our global client who are looking to engage with PV Managers and Deputy UKQPPV's to join their super friendly and professional team on a fixed term contract for a 9 month project, with a view to go permanent after this initial term.
- We are looking for candidates who would be able to support the QPPV oversight on all PVG processes and all aspects of our clients Pharmacovigilance system and deputise for the UKQPPV during periods of absence.
- Candidates looking to apply will serve as the backup company contact for competent authorities in Member States and the Agency (EMA) and also serve as the backup regulator contact for pharmacovigilance inspections.
- Other duties will ensure effective PV oversight and inspection readiness and in collaboration with Company Regulatory Affairs ensures that safety conditions or obligations as part of the Marketing Authorisation are respected.
- We are looking for candidates with strong communication skills as you will lead the QPPV office activities and mentor, support and supervise the QPPV office for the completion of their tasks.
- You will also ensure quality assurance within PV according to the legal requirements and according to company standards and ensure that the QPPV office maintains compliance of our clients PVG system and be responsible for QPPV office oversight of processes, SOPs & metrics.
- PV Managerial skills are key for this role as you will be looking after a team of 4.
- We are offering a highly competitive salary and benefits package and a home based option with travel to their offices 1/2 per month.
- Bachelor’s in sciences/pharmacy/nursing degree or related field.
- Strong, proven leadership capability.
- Strategic thinking, Business acumen, Project management skills.
- Excellent time management skills and must be able to work to tight timelines.
- Ability to manage own workload (as well as that of the assigned team) and interact well in a team environment.
- Demonstrated ability to handle more than one project simultaneously, prioritize competing tasks, plan ahead and problem solve.
