Experienced at delivering highly efficient projects for state-of-the-art Data Centres, Pharma, Semi- Conductor infrastructures around the world, our client is a global leader in design, engineering and delivery of facilities for high tech industries. Responsibilities:
- Setting-up the Procurement Execution Plan in conjunction with the Project Execution Plan
- Owning the Project Procurement Plan (PPP) for the designated scope
- Post Award PSM Management, including subcontractor performance management
- Provide a single PSM focal and accountability point for projects, including managing the interface into the broader PSM function
- Resource planning of the necessary Project related PSM resources in alignment with the respective functional lead.
- Owning the budget related to the Purchasing scope and judicious spending of the budget
- Responsible for quality, costs and on time delivery of the material and services for the Project and mitigate schedule risks related to long lead and critical path items
- Creating and/or managing all Project related purchasing templates (e.g. award recommendation, bidders list, commercial bid comparison, etc.)
- Supporting Commercial Management (Project Controls) with reporting, e.g. cash-out planning
- Manage claims and variation orders with vendors in close cooperation with Commercial Management and Purchasing
Qualifications:
- Ensure all vendors to be considered in the Project are pre-qualified in due time and manages the customer interface as required in coordination with other stakeholders of the Project
- Manage timely issuance of deliverables from stakeholders, e.g. bill of quantities, specifications
- Support Purchasing in contract negotiations
- Follow up on timely closure of NCRs related to suppliers
- Participates in periodic project meetings with Quality, Engineering, Scheduling, etc. and
- records notes/action list from these meetings and follows up on the PSM related actions
- Communicate relevant Project information within the PSM-Team
- Monthly Project reporting to PSM-Leadership
- Represent PSM in Projects, internally and externally
- Ensures that vendor contracts are compliant with the EHS Policy and Code of Conduct
