Project Manager - Pharmaceuticals - Wales - 12-24 Months  

Pioneering trusted medical solutions to improve lives, our client is a global medical products and technologies company, focused on solutions for the management of chronic conditions, with leading positions in advanced wound care, ostomy care, continence care, and infusion care. With around 10,000 colleagues, they provide our products and services in almost 100 countries, united by a promise to be forever caring.

They are in the close to start construction of their new £20 million facility in their site. The facility with be an extension on their existing facility and the site with consist of a new manufacturing textile line, a clean room and warehouse space.


Responsibilities:
  • Consistently project manage and deliver high priority technically complex projects to ensure on-time completion within the agreed scope and budget.
  • Work with cross functional project teams to provide a coordinated and collaborative approach to New Product Development. 
  • Create detailed work plans for assigned projects which identify and sequence the activities needed to successfully complete each project and establish the resources (time, money, capital equipment, etc.) required to complete the project activities. 
  • Work within a cross functional team to ensure workstreams are appropriately planned and integrated into master schedules. 
  • Develop communication plan and provide updates on assigned projects to stakeholders. 
  • Review project schedules with senior management and project team members; revise schedules/plan as required to ensure successful completion. 
  • Proactively identify and mitigate project risks.  Escalate as appropriate to ensure timely resolution of identified issues. 
  • Proactively manage project budget.  Align monthly with project team to ensure project spend forecast is correct and planned charges have been accrued.
  • Manage compliance to both Design Control and Business processes, such as preparation for Gate reviews with core team and ensuring rigorous adherence to IDEAL, the new product development process. 

Requirements:
  • Project Manager background (5-10 years)
  • Chemical / Pharma background
  • Clean room experience
  • GMP Background
  • Stakeholder / Vendor Management
  • Onsite presence (Flexibility on a Friday to leave early for travel)
  • Project management experience
  • Chemical / Pharma background
