Project Manager - Vancouver - 6-Month Contract 

We are supporting a global biotech company based in Vancouver and their construction partner with a need for a senior technical project manager to support the project.  


Responsibilities:
  • Oversee laboratory and life science project construction, cGMP manufacturing project management.
  • Understanding of cGMP and Clean Room construction standards and quality. 
  • Manage project risks and issues, and develop contingency plans as needed.
  • Ensure that all project documentation is complete, accurate, and up-to-date and meets project requirements.
  • Understands the mechanical commissioning with a background in biotech / WFI (water for injection) / Clean steam  and a clear understanding of the validation process
  • Needs to have experience within pharma and GMP ideally having worked on $400 mil projects upwards.

Requirements:
  • Four-year degree in Construction Management, Architecture, Engineering, or similar.
  • 5+ years of experience in laboratory and life science project construction.
  • cGMP manufacturing project management strongly preferred.
  • Knowledge of Life Science, cGMP Manufacturing and Clean Room construction standards.
  • Knowledge of commissioning and validation of cGMP projects.
