Senior Project Manager - Data Centres - 12-Month Contract 

Quanta have an exciting opportunity for Senior Project Manager working at a data centre design and project management service. They are experts in mechanical and electrical installations and this project will be based in Brussels, Belgium. 


Responsibilities: 
  • The Senior Project Manager reports into the Country Manager for Belgium and is ultimately responsible for day-to-day activities of the assigned data centre project.
  • You will be based on site and support the electrical project manager and mechanical project manager in the successful delivery of the project schedule within time and budget agreements.
  • The Project Manager oversees all project fitout and service install activity onsite and associated paperwork and documentation.
  • These projects are managed regarding scope, budget, time, quality, risk, communication, organisation in line with agreed procedures, agreements, and timelines.

Requirements: 
  • Bachelor's degree (Engineering, Project Management, Construction Management or similar)
  • Extensive project management experience of technically complex projects required
  • A minimum of 10+ years’ experience working in construction industry, experience in the Data Centre is essential.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential, and English language is a must as the Project Manager will be working alongside vendors and stakeholders to forge strong relationships and manage the activity of the General Contractor onsite to mitigate delays to the fitout and install service being provided.
