Project Coordinator - Pharmaceuticals - Ohio - 12-Month Contract 

Our client, a global (bio)pharmaceutical manufacturing organisation, is recruiting for a Project Coordinator  to join them on their new expansion project. Based in Ohio, this is on a contractual basis, and will involve significantly growing the sites capacity for the manufacture of Biologics.


Responsibilities:

  • Organize, chair, and record minutes for meetings on behalf of the Project Manager as needed.
  • Attend design meetings in Cincinnati and coordinate with engineering, QA/QC, CQV, stakeholders, and other groups during the pre-construction and construction phases of the project.
  • Support the RFI (Request for Information) and Submittal approval process by monitoring statuses, expediting responses, and ensuring timely approvals from the owner’s side.
  • Facilitate coordination between the construction and design teams to ensure alignment and resolve any potential issues.
  • Identify and raise potential project risks, bringing them to the attention of the appropriate parties to mitigate any impact.
  • Assist the Project Manager with reviewing weekly action lists during meetings, providing input, and following up on action items.
  • Organize, review, and provide feedback on SharePoint directories, ensuring that documentation is properly managed and accessible.
  • Review documentation requirements, monitor deadlines, and assist in maintaining documentation distribution matrices.
  • Provide day-to-day operational support to the Project Manager and act as a strategic advisor, helping to develop and implement effective project strategies.


Education, Qualifications, Skills and Experience
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in project coordination, preferably in a construction or engineering environment.
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking skills with a strong attention to detail.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
  • Proficiency in project management software and tools.
  • Experience with documentation management and SharePoint is a plus.
  • Ability to travel as needed to project sites
