Procurement Director - Data Centers - Remote 

This is your opportunity to play a major role in the continued growth of an ambitious data center operator and service provider.

Our client, has developed an award-winning global portfolio within critical infrastructure and are looking to onboard a Remote Procurement Director where you will support the development of their infrastructure.

Responsibilities: 
  • Support business units to manage existing and new supply chains.
  • Develop and implement team strategy and objectives and monitor and assist in delivery.
  • Identify and mitigate risks in supply chains.
  • Review and analyze current spend within the company to maintain comprehensive knowledge of supply base and contract status.
  • Identify value improvement opportunities by reducing overall costs and improving equipment/service delivery.
  • Work with preferred suppliers in order to deliver best value, cost savings, and timely deliveries achieving high quality and standardization across the division.
  • Conduct regular audits and performance reviews with suppliers to maintain effective relationships and identify value improvement opportunities.
  • Actively benchmark suppliers on price and capability to drive best value.
  • Identify and realize opportunities to optimize the number of suppliers and leverage high performing suppliers.
  • Negotiate favorable terms and conditions with new suppliers that can bolster the existing vendor base with the goal of improving equipment delivery metrics.
  • Responsibility for ensuring global standards are adhered to and adjusted accordingly for the region in which the project is occurring.
  • Drive procurement practices in line with ESG goals.
  • Create and manage purchase orders.
