Planner - Copenhagen, Denmark - 12 Months Contract

Our client, a global pharmaceutical company, are looking for a Planner to join their team. The company has grown to become a world leader in the development, manufacture, and marketing of innovative pharmaceutical products to alleviate some of the world’s biggest health problems.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities for this role include, but are not limited to, the following:
  • Providing oversight of the current project portfolio to ensure schedules and timelines are met.
  • Specific support will be provided to the Lead Planner on the schedule for the drug substance Expansion programme.
  • Providing project planning (scheduling) support to the project team.
  • Manage the project schedules in accordance with the project work breakdown structure and ensuring that project schedules are developed.
  • Assuring that project plans are regularly updated and within levels of certainty to allow effective monitoring, forecasting and control.
  • Ensuring that project schedules conform to the Change Control Process, in terms of liaison, communication and calculation of change notes and change orders.
  • Ensure that standard Project Planning requirements are met, understood, and embedded from both Contractors and Sub-Contractors into the project systems.
  • Assuring that project plans are regularly updated and within levels of certainty to allow effective monitoring, forecasting and control.
  • Producing planning reports for input into the monthly reporting process.
Desirable Experience:
  • Extensive experience in planning of large CAPEX projects (such as Pharmaceutical or Biopharmaceutical) in multi-discipline teams.
  • Construction, EPC & CQV Scheduling experience.
  • Experience of delivering the schedule for projects of similar levels of complexity would be ideal although would be happy to consider a young and motivated individual.
  • Planning responsibility through life cycle covering Detailed design, Construction and CQV to handover.
  • Extensive knowledge of the software tool P6 and MS Project.
  • Working within a multi-disciplined project management matrix organisation.
  • Experience of planning large scale Pharmaceutical greenfield construction projects would be an advantage.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
