Permitting Architect - Data Centres - Permanent - Warsaw, Poland / Hybrid

We are currently partnering with a leading global consulting and engineering company that are looking for experienced data centre professionals to join their team. Our client is working with many major developers in the data centre space and require a Permitting Architect for their Poland location.

Our client offers strategic, tactical, and operational advice to a variety of entities, including colocation data centres, internet service providers, and telecom companies. Their team is composed of experts in diverse fields such as electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, construction, civil engineering, structure, building, architecture, fire safety, control engineering, and security technology.

Responsibilities
  • Managing and delivering architectural work packages in multiple projects, from early test fits, to building permits to execution;
  • Identifying the scope, design, and management objectives and delivering project documentation;
  • Ensuring the quality and flow of information required for contractors, vendors, and regulatory authorities;
  • Writing technical specifications and reports;
  • Assisting the project manager in the preparation/review of project costs and risk assessments;
  • Review contractor pre-qualifications and prepared tender evaluation summaries for tender reviews;
  • Evaluate proposals and recommendations to the client regarding vendor selection, write technical specifications for tenders;
  • Communicate the status of projects to internal directors and external stakeholders (clients) on an ad-hoc and formal basis;
  • Developing and maintaining vendor relationships ensuring continuous technical professional development.
Requirements: 
  • A bachelor’s and/or master’s degree in Architectural Engineering;
  • Relevant working experience in architectural design;
  • Good knowledge of standard practices in the design and construction industry;
  • License to design (architectural specialization);
  • Fluency in English and Polish;
  • A good understanding of the daily operational business of construction industry clients;
  • An entrepreneurial and result oriented;
  • Proactive and flexible attitude;
  • Positive and problem-solving attitude.
