Operational Readiness Planner - Life Sciences - Raleigh, North Carolina - 15-Month Contract 

Our client, a global Pharmaceutical manufacturing organization are looking for a talented Operational Readiness Planner to join their expanding team. With continued organizational growth and considerable investment across their portfolio and capital programs this is an extremely exciting opportunity to contribute towards their brand-new manufacturing facility on the East Coast of the United States.


Responsibilities:

  • Proper milestones in each schedule are identified as critical tie-points and are reflected in the schedule with appropriate supporting detail.
  • Quality check that there are key links and identifiers between the ops readiness schedule and other project schedules
  • Coordination between key functional stakeholders to obtain schedule statuses
  • Ops readiness strategies are reflected appropriately in the ops readiness schedule including periodic schedule updates and data date rollover
  • Report development for tracking progress
  • Daily contact for Ops Readiness team members with regards to schedule information


Requirements:
  • Minimum of 5 years of planning experience including experience with design and construction projects for biopharmaceutical manufacturing facilities.
  • Understanding of key functions (Quality, Product Supply, Supply Chain, HSE, etc) to bring a facility from commissioning to operations.
  • Ability to challenge durations and logic within key functions of the operational readiness team schedules
  • Experience with complex projects and working in or around operating facilities.
  • Ability to keep work pace and meet deadlines. Good organizing and planning skills.
  • Demonstrated proficiency communicating and collaborating at a variety of levels with customers, vendors, equipment suppliers and operations staff.
  • Proven success working well in a team environment with flexibility to react to changing business needs.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills. Problem solver with a focus on achievement of overall project goals.
  • Computer skills (Spreadsheets, Word Processing, Visio, Microsoft Project)
