OFCI Project Manager – Construction – Berlin, Germany

This is your opportunity to lead an OFCI project in a client-side position for one of the fastest-growing data centre groups in Europe. 

Having received significant investment this established data centre group is looking to enter in their next phase of growth. Their service offering is tailored to their client's requirement allowing them to support current and future IT infrastructure requirements, already supporting some of the most well-known and recognizable brands.

The Opportunity

As OFCI Project Manager you will be responsible for delivering the owner furnished & contractor installed, electrical and mechanical project for a new hyperscale data centre facility in Berlin, Germany. You will be leading and managing the onsite operation to ensure each stage of the project is delivered on time and within budget.

As OFCI Project Manager your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

-        You’ll will be onsite leading the entire project lifecycle
-        You’ll be engaging and working with vendors to ensure the delivery of the project
-        You’ll will be monitoring the program and project timeline ensuring each phase is delivered on time
-        You’ll mange materials purchasing ensuring that projects are delivered on budget
-        You’ll be taking ownership of the general contractor’s delivery of the installation of the mechanical and electrical equipment
-        You’ll be ensuring that all onsite activity is delivered within the health and safety guidelines
-        You’ll be supporting the commissioning and handover at the end of the project

About you

We are looking for an enthusiastic OFCI Project Manager that has experience in leading the Mechanical, Electrical & Plumbing projects for large international scale projects, ideally with a project value great than €50m. If you have previously worked on data centre projects this will be of benefit but is by no way means essential. We will consider OFCI project experience with either mechanical or electrical bias and from other large critical facilities environments.

This is your opportunity to demonstrate your extensive OFCI project management experience and knowledge.

You will have 5+ years of construction project management experience and it is an essential requirement that you speak fluent English and at least intermediate German language skills. It is also a requirement that you have previous experience working on large-scale constructions project within Germany allowing you to demonstrate knowledge of local regulations.
