Our client, a globally recognised pioneer in Biotechnology, are recruiting for the position of Maintenance Planner. Responsibilities:
- To support and guide the team in the effective maintenance and continuous improvements of production, utility (Clean and Black) equipment/systems and site facilities.
- To support and guide the team in the development of new and update to existing SOPs & Work Instructions.
- Develop close relationships with the team members through regular one-to-one meetings and effective performance management.
- To lead the Daily Tier 1 meetings, prioritise activities and report up to the Tier 2 daily meeting.
- Identify and make recommendations for improvements as leader of the team within or outside the department in order to ensure continuous improvement.
- Support Project delivery as needed through procedure development, FAT, SAT and validation of production and utility equipment/systems.
- Act as a gatekeeper during project gate reviews to ensure the handover of drawings and documents reflect the final As-Built state.
- Ensure new assets are registered on the site CMMS system (PEMAC) and integrated into the Asset Care Schedule of PM and Calibration Routines.
Qualifications and Skills Required:
- Min Level 7 Engineering degree in Mechanical or Electrical or equivalent training/experience.
- Minimum 10+ years’ experience within the Pharma, Biopharma sector or Med Device.
- 3 – 5 Years in a coordinator role.
- Experience working in a cGMP/FDA/HPRA-regulated environment is essential as well as hands-on experience in maintaining production and utility equipment/systems.
- Trades qualification an advantage.
- Knowledge of Automation and Electrical Systems an advantage.
- Project management experience and/or certification an advantage.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office.
- Professional, proactive demeanour.
- Strong interpersonal skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
