HSE Lead - Germany - 22 Months Contract

Experienced at delivering highly efficient projects for state-of-the-art Data Centres, Pharma, Semi- Conductor infrastructures around the world, our client is a global leader in design, engineering and delivery of facilities for high tech industries. This is your chance to join an innovative, market leading data centre company as their newest HSE Lead. Responsibilities:
  • Consulting of management, project management and construction management on EHS topics.  
  • Implement the occupational health and safety management system and assure its compliance. 
  • Implement and control compliance with environmental regulations and the environmental protection management system.  
  • Organise additional health and safety and environmental programmes and activities to promote the safe behaviour of employees and contractors and protection of the environment as required and / or identified during inspections, safety meetings, adverse event investigations and similar.  
  • Ensuring that all employees of the customer and contractors are instructed in the specifics of the construction site 
  • Ensure that corrective actions are taken and that appropriate status messages are communicated to the workforce. 
  • Coordination of contractor safety managers and safety advisors. 
  • Organisation of (at least) weekly safety coordination meetings and recording and communication of the results and tracking of actions 
  • Assistance in the monitoring and implementation of (on-site) EHS regulations in force. 
  • In case of accidents: Contact management and, if necessary, the responsible authorities, accident analysis and participation in adverse event investigations. Communication of adverse event information and lessons learned to the project management, construction management and contractor.
  • Reporting of the updated adverse event statistics. Regular data maintenance and provision of careful and up-to-date documentation.  
  • Maintain and control security statistics and checklists.
