Fit-out Construction Manager - Contract - Eastern Germany

Our client, a global engineering specialist, have an excellent career opportunity for a Construction Manager with Fit-out experience for their project located in Eastern Germany. Responsible for providing engineering and construction solutions to some of the world’s most successful and enduring businesses, cities and institutions, our client’s numerous industry accolades prove their customers trust them in their delivery.

As the Fit-out Construction Manager, you will join our client and their 3,000 worldwide specialists in fit out, technology, and construction who deliver not just buildings, but also excellent customer relationships developed on mutual trust, collaboration, and open communication.

Fit-out Construction Manager Responsibilities:

• Manage subcontractors to help deliver the project on time and within budget.
• Supervise the project planning, site contractors, and ensure work is completed to a satisfactory standard.
• Supervise the fit-out works including all interior fixings and equipment.
• Ensure client satisfaction throughout the project lifeline.
• Handover of the facility to the end client after project completion.
• Being available on site 5 days a week and answering any queries or questions.

Fit-out Construction Manager Requirements:

• Residential / commercial background - offices, residential, hotels, retail, leisure or logistics.
• Ability to communicate effectively in German and English language.
• Fit-out expertise.
• Good knowledge of German building regulations (VOB, HOAI).
• Experience in retrofit / refurbishment projects.
• Ability to build and develop relationships e.g., marketing relationships with external professionals and clients, strategic relationships with contractors and suppliers.
• Must be able to work in Germany and have freelance set up / umbrella.
