Drupal Developer - Remote/Valencia - IT - 6-Month Contract+ 

Full remote Drupal Developer contract opportunity. 

Starting as soon as possible with an initial 6 month contract, multiple extensions are expected and there is great, long-term potential. This is an English speaking role but a multinational working environment.

Responsibilities: 
  • Responsible for overseeing the entire lifecycle of medium to large complex projects, showcasing robust technical proficiency and a keen understanding of intricate business processes.
  • Engage in comprehensive system requirement gathering through client meetings and meticulous research into existing technologies. 
  • Drive the development or modification of data input, file/database structures, data transformation, algorithms, and data output using suitable computer languages and tools. 
  • Thoroughly document code and associated processes by adhering to development methodologies, integrating code comments, and creating suitable documentation within knowledge-base systems. 
  • Conduct rigorous testing of all modifications using complex test scenarios to guarantee the seamless functionality of delivered solutions and effective handling of errors.
  • Implement changes in accordance with change management policies.

Requirements:
  • Expertise (5+ years) in Drupal development and administration, encompassing theming, module configuration, custom module development, and security reinforcement.
  • Proficiency (5+ years) in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Bootstrap, and responsive design.
  • Familiarity with front-end development and mastery of at least one major JavaScript framework (Angular, React, Node.js).
  • Advanced knowledge (5+ years) of RESTful services.
  • Profound understanding of PHP, MySQL, and PHP frameworks (Symfony, Zend) for 5+ years.
  • Proficiency in Drush, Drupal Composer, and Docker containers.
  • Experience in Agile project participation.
  • Outstanding oral and written communication skills.
  • Excellent time management, organizational abilities, and meticulous attention to detail.
