DevOps Engineer - 11-Months - Full Remote (or onsite in Valencia, Spain)


Our client is looking for two strong DevOps engineers with development skills that are also knowledgeable on infrastructure and new technologies. The candidate must be flexible, able to work in a highly collaborative environment, grasp new concepts quickly, have an open mind, prioritise across multiple competing tasks, work independently as a developer, and be able to complete tasks on time. The candidates will have at least 5+ years of combined experience in development and systems administration


Duties:
  • Develop RESTful APIs with Django Rest Framework
  • Architect new services using the latest technologies
  • Designing and implementation of the infrastructure for new projects
  • Integration with third-party APIs.
  • Deploy new services in AWS
  • CI/CD design and implementation

Required Technical Skills:
  • Minimum 5 years relevant experience
  • Solid development knowledge (Python/Django is preferred)
  • Experience creating Docker images to deploy software
  • Understanding of CI/CD pipelines
  • Solid Infrastructure knowledge (especially Linux/Docker/AWS/Kubernetes)
  • Experience deploying and managing web applications on AWS from the Frontend to the Backend.
  • Excellent English language skills
  • Ability to work as a registered freelancer
  • Kubernetes, Blockchain and AI/Machine Learning experience would be a bonus
