CQV Lead - Utilities and facilities - Pharmaceuticals - Toulouse - 6-Months+ 

Our client, a global biotechnology organisation, is recruiting for a CQV Lead to join their capital project in the South of France. This new build facility will house a therapeutic protein production plant, and we are looking for a CQV Lead to help expand our client's biotech operations throughout Europe. As the CQV Lead you will be responsible for implementing all safety requirements for a new build facility, estimated at approximately 14,900m2.


Responsibilities: 
  • PM / CQV - familiarity with construction for facilities and utilities - organising maintenance / safety aspect / tools.
  • Prioritize Safety and Quality in all aspects of work whilst ensuring that budget and schedule are maintained, with specific attention to change management.
  • Oversee aspects of the utilities design process and assist in design approvals.
  • Develop plans, procedures, and reports for the project, including development and approval of Requirements Documents (RDs).
  • Coordinate activities between Construction, Utilities, Automation and Operations.
  • Liaise with the CMT in relation to construction readiness and schedule for all assigned systems, attendances of field walkdowns and system acceptance from Construction to Commissioning.
  • Attend daily white boards / internal communication meetings with the CMT team.
  • Lead the utilities CQV team through system start-up and functional verification, in a safe and controlled manner.
  • Assist in the planning and tracking of activities to ensure adherence to project schedule timelines, and commissioning readiness of utility systems to support equipment CQV activities.
  • Lead daily white boards with the utilities CQV team to coordinate field execution efforts whilst identifying risks early and implementing appropriate mitigation measures.
  • Work with all other project personnel to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Adjust day-to-day role requirements depending on the immediate demands and requirements set down by the project.

Requirements: 
  • Experience leading and driving projects to completion from CQV of facilities and utilities.
  • Need to be strong, organised and hard working. 
  • Need to have people who can come in and liaise with all levels and push the project forward.
