CQV Engineer - Downstream - Pharmaceuticals - Seattle - 12-Month Contract 

Our client, a global biotechnology organisation, is recruiting for a CQV Engineer to join their capital project in the Seattle. This new build facility will house a therapeutic protein production plant, and we are looking for a CQV Engineer to help expand our client's biotech operations throughout the US. As the CQV Engineer you will be responsible for implementing all safety requirements for a new build facility.


Responsibilities:
  • CQV Downstream Engineer (Specifically, within Media Prep, Buffer Prep and Buffer Hold), initially responsible for review of all Design deliverables including Drawings, Datasheets, specifications and Engineering Lists.
  • Point CQV person for Vendor review for all downstream Vendor Packages.
  • Assist CQV SME for all Downstream Systems.
  • Liaise in relation to construction readiness and a schedule for all Downstream systems, perform and lead all field walkdowns for all downstream systems.
  • Support CQV review, aligning with Transition Group in relation to review and approval of all Turnover Packages, both Vendor and Contractor Packages within the Building for Upstream.
  • Liaise with CQV SWAT Team in relation to punchlist closure both pre-M/C and during the CQV execution phase for Downstream systems within the building.

Requirements:
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience including experience with expansion projects.
  • Experience working with downstream systems (Specifically, within Media Prep, Buffer Prep and Buffer Hold)
  • Experience with complex projects and working in or around operating facilities.
  • Experience within process equipment within the pharmaceutical / biotech industries
  • Ability to keep work pace and meet deadlines. Good organizing and planning skills
