Contract’s Manager - France - 12 Months Contract

Our client, a global health-care company that specialises in diabetes care, are looking for a Contract’s Manager to join their team. The company has grown to become a world leader in the development, manufacture, and marketing of innovative diabetes medications.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities for this role include, but are not limited to, the following:
  • Project procurement execution strategy support (where applicable, depending on the stage of project execution & tender):
  • Support the definition of the risk mitigation plan
  • Participate in the development of contractualisation strategies.
  • Involve the cost control group and ensure implementation of the cost control system, e.g., progress measurement, revaluation, bank guarantees, additional items, claims, cash flow, and credit notes.
  • Analyse contract conditions and assist project management in preparing and leading contract execution.
  • Participation in the examination of new calls for tenders and contracts.
  • Support the negotiation of major contracts, subcontracts and be responsible for the final review and preparation of documents.
  • Ensure that relevant FFEx Procurement & Change processes and standards are followed
Desirable Experience:
  • Extensive experience working in a similar position.
  • Have experience managing contracts/contractors under General Contractor/ EPCC/EPCM/EPC contract models
  • Ideally French based (or Belgium, Netherlands etc.)
  • Fluency in French & English – must be business fluent
  • Happy to be on site in Chartres full time – if not full time what could they commit to
  • Experience fulfilling a Contracts Management role in major Capital projects
