This is a fantastic opportunity for a Construction Space Planner to join our major, global pharmaceutical client on their latest new-build project based in Ohio, this is a large-scale greenfield capital project and investing more than $1bn.
Responsibilities:
- Track current and future headcount across all functions to determine workspace needs.
- Develop and maintain an occupancy plan for construction trailers, ensuring logical and efficient space assignments.
- Identify and mitigate space constraints as project demands shift.
- Liaise with construction management, operations, safety, procurement, and other key stakeholders to align trailer assignments with project schedules.
- Communicate changes and updates to relevant teams to ensure smooth transitions.
- Manage workspace logistics, including move scheduling and personnel assignments.
- Ensure that assigned workspaces align with workflow efficiency, accessibility, and safety regulations.
- Track and document workspace utilization trends to support long-term planning.
- Act as the primary point of contact for trailer-related issues and reassignments.
- Maintain accurate records of trailer occupancy and upcoming space availability.
- Provide regular reports on headcount forecasts and workspace needs.
- Support decision-making by analyzing workspace trends and potential bottlenecks.
Skills:
- Experience in space planning, facilities coordination, or construction logistics on large-scale projects.
- Strong background in headcount tracking and workspace allocation for dynamic, evolving teams.
- Experience working with cross-functional teams in a construction or industrial environment.
- Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills to manage evolving site needs.
- Strong ability to analyze and forecast workspace requirements based on project timelines.
- Proficient in Excel, Smartsheet, or similar tracking tools for workspace management.
