Construction Project Manager - Pharmaceuticals - North Carolina - 12-Months 

Our client, a global Pharmaceutical manufacturing organization are looking for a talented Construction Project Manager to join their expanding team. With continued organizational growth and considerable investment across their portfolio and capital programs this is an extremely exciting opportunity to contribute towards their brand-new manufacturing facility on the East Coast of the United States.


Job Responsibilities:
  • Exemplify best in class construction safety culture
  • Engage in constructability reviews and ensure cohesive construction execution planning
  • Review and approve subcontract award recommendations for construction work packages
  • Monitor and coordinate overall construction operations, progress, and efficiency
  • Review, challenge and approve change orders and claims from subcontractors
  • Ensure implementation of construction quality management
  • Support Project Controls with cost, schedule and risk evaluations, and mitigation development
  • Support Procurement with change notice reviews
  • Support Building Work stream with coordination of mechanical completion walk downs & handovers
  • Support EHS work package with construction site safety programs and operations
  • Monitor design IFC readiness to support construction progress and quality (right first time)
  • Support CM’s driving resolution of engineering and technical issues
 

Knowledge and Skills:
  • Minimum 15 years of experience from similar role
  • API project execution experience required
  • Pharma/cGMP experience required
  • Experience with Microsoft Suite programs required
  • Experience with Primavera P6 favorable Basic Requirements
  • Emphasis for this hire is on attitude (Positive Can-Do attitude)
  • Acts with detail-driven ownership and follow-through
  • Excellent communication skills and fluency in English
  • Experience working in a construction project environment
