Construction Electrical Engineer - Renewable Energy - 12-Month Contract 

Quanta are working with a Swedish based client who are on a quest to power the world with renewable energy only. They specialise in renewable battery solutions and are seeking the knowledge of a construction electrical engineer. 


Responsibilities:
  • Installation of MV and LV temporary networks for construction needs,
  • Communication and liaising to solve technical issues
  • Planning temporary lights network on site
  • Supervision of installation Permanent and Temporary MV and LV cables, transformers, el. panels, opto cables, cable bridges, and similar
  • Taking over Delegation for Electrical responsibilities.
  •  Checking design and making sure all works are executed according to design,
  • Ordering works from contractors
  • Requesting As built dwg reports from Contractors for all electrical installations.
  • Handling Permits to Work in vicinity of electrical installations.
  • Checking following Lock Out - Tag Out procedures.
  • Following and checking invoiced quantities, hours and amounts by Contractor,
  • Checking Quality documents,
  • Making sure all works are executed according to local standards.
  • Monitor the services being provided by Time sheets, Diaries and reports.
  • Documenting works by photos and reports.
  • Keep track of Contractor activity keenly by following health and safety policies and procedures.
  • Change management
