We are recruiting on behalf of a leading global pharmaceutical client based in the surroundings of Clean Utilities Lead. Due to a large capital investment and multiple projects on site, the client is looking for a Clean Utilities Lead with to join their team.
Responsibilities include:
- The role will encompass a “cradle to grave” approach for vendor supplied packages and ancillary support systems.
- This role requires a depth of understanding of Utility Systems (Clean / Grey Utilities) through the design, application, and troubleshooting within the project.
- Must understand mechanical utility systems adequately to be capable of troubleshooting and identifying opportunities for improvement.
- The Package Lead will interact and align with the A&E Firm Design Team, CQV, Automation,
- Construction, Procurement, etc to deliver the specific packages in line with the overall program.
- The role will support a variety of utility systems (Process Gases, Air, Water, Steam Distribution and Process Waste Streams) including but not limited to meetings with packaged equipment vendors and design firms to ensure equipment and design standards are being followed to provide consistency for the entire site.
- The Package Lead will co-ordinate and manage the specific packages during vendor fabrication.
- Will be the point of contact “on the ground” when packages get to site.
- Co-ordinate activities / queries from Site Construction, EHS, CQV, Operations, etc.
- Ensure all specific package goals and timelines are met.
- Will assist the Senior Principal Engineer on any specific design queries during vendor fabrication.
- Effectively communicating and managing internal and external stakeholders.
- Proactively managing package issues as they arise, proposing and implementing plans to resolve same.
Key requirements include:
- The Clean Utilities Lead should have prior experience supporting the delivery of Clean Utilities on to a Pharma / Biopharma greenfield or brownfield site build.
- Capital Project Management Experience in manufacturing facilities (Bulk API, sterile products, fill finish, secondary packaging, Devices and to a lesser extent lab projects.)
- Previous experience on projects >$500 million.
- Experience in most of the following disciplines: Automation, construction, construction quality, project controls, the engineering disciplines, safety, scheduling.
- The Lead should have previous experience delivered these Utilities in Germany.
- German and English Language is preferred
