BMS Project Manager - Data Centres - Zurich

Our client are a hugely successful project management consultancy that help global clients deliver ambitious and highly technical projects. They currently require a BMS Project Manager to deliver complex projects within the data centre sector.


Key Deliverables
  • Develop and implement strategic initiatives to enhance design development cycles, specifications, and processes.
  • Manage the design development, ensuring that standards are met for each client.
  • Be an escalation point for technical issues in relation to design, representing the client and providing support to the Sales and Solutions Engineering, New Site Development and Construction Teams.
  • Lead design activities in relation to BMS
  • Review and approval of design documentation, ensuring compliance with project requirements, engineering standards, codes, and specifications.
  • Provide technical engineering to ensure project requirements and industry standards are met.
  • Manage design, procurement, and construction processes.
  • Develop and implement updates to design, procurement, and construction processes to drive efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Support the construction teams with commissioning.

Skills & Attributes
  • Bachelor of Science in Construction Management, Mechanical, Electrical Engineering, or similar technical field from an accredited university or college.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in data centre design management, engineering management, or equivalent managerial positions.
  • Proficiency in critical cooling infrastructure and critical power infrastructure within a data centre project.
  • Familiarity with building and fire codes ordinances.
