BMS Manager - Data Centre - Frankfurt, Germany - 12-Month Contract

Are you a BMS Manager looking for your next contract role? We have a fantastic opportunity for you to join our valued client in Frankfurt on an initial 12-Month contract.

Experienced at delivering highly efficient projects for state-of-the-art Data Centres, Pharma, Semi- Conductor infrastructures around the world, our client is a global leader in design, engineering and delivery of facilities for high tech industries. This is your chance to join an innovative, market leading data centre company as their newest BMS Manager. Responsibilities:
  • BMS Manager with Electronical System background
  • Will be reporting into Electrical Package Manager and PM
  • Will be managing the 3 electrical sub contractors to ensure they are following design and installation according to design.
  • Will be reviewing design constantly with client and subcontractors, therefore must have extensive understanding of BMS design from concept, review, installation, challenges through to commissioning and handover.
  • Review RFI and Technical Submittals from client
  • Be present onsite 5 days a week
  • Be present and be able to report to client on progress, design challenges, changes etc
  • Ideally have a Data centre background or some experience, but will consider those without who have some mission critical exp, but must be very strong in their field and demonstrate they can work on a DC project
  • Must be experienced in a managerial capacity – leading and managing sub contractors
  • Fluent English, Good German is desirable

Requirements:
  • Successfully completed technical studies in the field of HVAC, automation, electrical engineering, technical computer science or a comparable qualification
  • Experience in plant project planning in the pharmaceutical and live science sector is an advantage
  • Very good knowledge of MSR technology, building management and automation technology, network technologies, IT
  • Good knowledge of building automation bus systems (e.g. BACnet, Dali, KNX, Profinet, Modbus, LONWorks etc.) as well as planning tools (e.g. Eplan)
  • Knowledge of EMS/BMS systems (e.g. Siemens Desigo or Scheider EcoStruxure or Honeywell Building Solutions, Zenon etc.)
