QCS are partnered with a leading power solutions company that operate across EMEA. Our client were established more than 100 years ago, and provide solutions when electrical energy is crucial. They are an independent international company with more than 4200 employees spread across 30 subsidiaries and production sites worldwide.
Their core activity: Maximising the availability, control, and safety of low-voltage installations with a focus on the energy performance of their customers.
They are rapidly expanding their team and looking to hire an Account Manager Critical Power in Netherlands location.

Responsibilities:
- Develop sales activities for Critical Power UPS/STS products through own prospecting and customer visits.
- Actively approach potential customers and analyse the market by obtaining customer information to generate leads, quotation pipeline, and orders.
- Develop and maintain long-term relationships with customers at operational and strategic levels.
- Adequately advise our customers on technical issues and be able to convert the offered solution into orders.
- Build and manage the opportunity funnel (quotation portfolio).
- Manage the customer base and take proactive actions to expand the base within our target market segments.
- Conduct order/contract negotiations, involving management when necessary.
- Ensure optimal collaboration to achieve commercial targets and objectives in the assigned region (sales targets and customer satisfaction).
- Observe competition in terms of pricing policy, technology, and marketing actions.
- Collaborate with the local team in Houten and internationally with colleagues at our factories in France and Italy.
- Completed HBO education in electrical engineering or MBO education supplemented with relevant work experience.
- Enjoy proactively pursuing customers.
- Proven experience in commercial field service within the electrical engineering industry.
- Knowledge of Critical Power systems such as UPS, batteries, and STS products is desired.
- Strong communication skills and ability to translate customer needs into the most favorable solution based on Critical Power products and services.
- Ambitious, entrepreneurial, commercial, and result-oriented, not afraid to roll up your sleeves.
- Self-starter, able to work independently but also a team player.
- Used to working orderly and setting priorities.
- Constantly on the road? That's no problem for you. You spend most of your time with customers.
- Experience with Windows, Salesforce, and ERP systems.
- Excellent command of Dutch and English, both spoken and written.
- Preferably residing in Northwest Netherlands.
- In possession of a driving license B.
