In these unprecedented times, we would like to offer our sincere thanks to all the key workers who are putting themselves at risk to protect others, whether this is NHS staff, emergency services or those keeping the essential supply chains operating. We hope all our colleagues, clients, friends, and partners within the Life Sciences, Data Centre/IT and Renewable Energies sectors are staying safe in these difficult times.

Since 2002, QCS Staffing have been partnering with the Life Sciences sector and providing staffing services within the biopharmaceutical, pharmaceutical and medical device industries. As the world responds to the outbreak of Covid-19, we are proud to have created a response team in order to support organisations in staffing skilled workforces to help in the research, development, manufacture and logistics of vaccines, diagnostics, plasma, ventilators, and medical gases in order to help fight the Coronavirus pandemic.

QCS Staffing’s Director and Executive Sponsor for the project David Broome says, “for over 18 years QCS Staffing have been proud to partner many of the largest and innovative vaccine manufacturers and medical device companies in the world.  We are currently supporting projects across the globe in a joint effort to overcome the challenge the world faces today.  I could not be prouder of the work all my colleagues are putting in daily to support our clients & candidates and my respect to all those who are contributing towards this global effort to overcome the Covid-19 pandemic.

The urgent demand for ventilators, medical gases and diagnostic products has become apparent in the recent weeks as hospital supplies are running drastically low and the race begins for top pharmaceutical companies to produce a vaccine.

We have proven staffing experience in supporting similar critical projects. In 2009, we assembled a Rapid Response Team to support Novartis Vaccines in their development of a vaccine to fight the H1N1 swine flu outbreak. As a result, we delivered 51  Consultants to Novartis’s manufacturing sites in the UK, US, Germany and Italy in a 6 month period.  This staffing support helped enable them to globally develop and manufacture 3 (A)H1N1 vaccines that were distributed worldwide.

With over 18 years’ experience providing skilled freelance consultants to global organisations within the life sciences sector, we have a passion to make a difference and are determined to contribute to help  fight the current global pandemic. We can deliver different disciplines within pharmacovigilance; drug safety; medical writing; regulatory (CMC); engineering; manufacturing, science and technology (MS&T); programme and project management; validation; and quality.

Spencer Trigg, Director at QCS Staffing and Programme Director says; “there are very few occasions in history where everyone comes together to reach a global common goal, when there is a worldwide common purpose. We are today living through one of these events and creating history together to beat the COVID-19 pandemic. It’s amazing to see global competitors in vaccine manufacturing join forces with an aim to develop the best vaccines utilising adjuvant technology and biopharmaceutical manufacturing platforms.  At QCS Staffing we are a staffing firm who are humbled by the efforts of all our contractors and clients working in the design, development and manufacture of diagnostics, ventilators and vaccines.  To know we are part of the supply chain and my colleagues’ work are making a difference makes me enormously proud.  It’s phenomenal to see the human sacrifice around the world from front line and key workers… you are all Super Heroes!”

As a trusted supplier to the Life Science industry, we would like to offer our support and staffing services to any organisation that needs to increase its contract or permanent full time workforce to help tackle the COVID-19 pandemic.
