We have an unmissable opportunity to work with a company that delivers technology expertise and high-end solutions to data centre construction projects. Specialising in design, procurement, delivery and handover of seamless ICT solutions for Hyperscale, Colocation, Commercial and Warehouse facilities. They are currently seeking a MEP Site Manager for their Berlin location.
Main responsibilities
- Accountability for all activities associated with the delivery of projects ensuring goals
are achieved and KPI’s met - Review and understand the SOW and Design documentation
- Build a strong and reliable relationship with your team and trades to facilitate
efficiency and growth. Manage team behaviours and culture. - Engage a transparent relationship with the client and other stakeholders that is
based on honesty and collaboration. - Empowering a culture of safety and security within the team by complying with
internal and client safety programs and policies. - Work with the project management team to manage end-to-end project plan to
ensure on time delivery. - Perform day to day project check-in and update to manage project delivery and
quality. - Monitor the installation quality being performed onsite.
- Supporting decision making on all day to day site operational actions and staff
- Carrying out tasks with due care for project budget control and commercial
performance. - Identify risks, gaps, and opportunities and communicate to stakeholders and other
teams to drive resolution. - Provide feedback on lessons learned, best practices, and innovations on
process/procedures and tools to improve efficiencies and productivity . - Support to ensure project operations are compliant in country in liaison with the
Compliance team.
Qualifications and Experience
- Good digital and personal communication skills required.
- Strong experience in ICT or Data Centre construction environment required.
- Computer literacy essential
- Ability to effectively prioritise and execute tasks in a dynamic and high-pressure environment.
- Perform and execute organisation’s safety programs and policies, and compliance
knowledge assessments. - A minimum of 5 years experience in a supervisory role, managing teams
- A good working knowledge of construction processes; i.e., Technical Submittals, RFI’s,
etc.
